No water from kitchen facuett
I get no water from my kitchen faucet, but the sprayer works fine. What could the problem be?

Check areator of the front of the spout, remove it, turn on faucet, if good flow, then clean this out.

I tried that when the flow was low now I get no water at all. Only way to get water is through spayer. Should I change faucet? Or could there be another cause/solution?

What type or brand of faucet is it?
I suspect you have a damaged diverter or debris caught in the diverter pathway. |

I am guessing that you have a single handled faucet. These usually have a cartridge in them that can get clogged or "O" rings go bad. Remove the cartridge (after turning off the water supply valves) And check it. Make sure to note the orientation of the cartrige before you remove it (maybe even mark the top center with a magic marker). Some can be installed reversed and will not work.

It is a Glacier Bay faucet. Is this a good brand? It came with the house.

Glacier Bay is a cheap thow-away faucet, I recommend getting a quality facet, like AM/Std or Moen faucet, one you can depend on.

Glacier Bay is the Home Depot house brand. You know, the ones that are sold off of the pallet displays in the middle of the plumbing aisle?
They are considered disposable. Replace the faucet. Moen, American Standard, Kohler, Delta, Gerber... they all make good faucets that you can get repair parts for. GL |

I agree with Ron and Double A. Most people don't think about replacements parts that may be needed down the road. If you stick with the "name" brands, you can usually find any parts you may need.
