NO HOT water at washing machine (powder room)

I had some electrical work done at the house and now there is no HOT water to the washing machine. There is hot water to all including powder room sink to all other areas in the house. Why just the washing machine? Your thoughts?

Check to make sure the selector knob is on the desired setting. Shut the water supply to the washer off and pull the hose to see if the screen on the end of the hose is plugged with debris, could be a coincidence that you noticed it after the electrical work.

Check the supply for hot water while the hose is off. If the hose is clear and the supply is distributing hot water, Re-attach all the connections and try again.

If you have hot water at the supply and the hose is free flowing, the problem lies inside the washer.

where was the electrical work done?? is the problem that there is no hot water, or no water out of the hot side?? is it possible that a shut-off was closed when the electrical work was done??

is it possible that the hot and cold got switched at the washer or the wall??

Thank you everyone for tips / help and suggestions is was a block in the line... question thought it was a screw head not whole screw but just the top. I took it out water runs now and i think everything is ok. .PS I took the end from the water line going into the hose not hose going into the washer FYI.
