Oh, fer 's sake, don't make us play 20 questions.

Is there hot water elsewhere?

Did this just happen suddenly or did it come on gradually?

Any other work going on that might have caused this?

Have you tried turning on the supply spigot under the sink?

Do you have a single- or double-handled faucet? Does it feel different?

faucet holes are pretty small. ANY good size grit can plug thm up,or a large size chunk of scale broke loose someplace, like in the water heater and traveled to smallest orifice and got stuck!!!FIRST thing is screw off the aerator and see what kind of stuff is stuck in there. Probably same crap only bigger plugging shutoff or faucet area. Take the supply line off before sink, have assistant turn water on while your catching it to flush pipe. No water comes out dig down further, water comes out there, blow back thru faucet with a good blast of air

Since the space under sinks is usually used for storage, check the supply tubing for kinks caused by overstuffing. If it is not kinked, turn off the supply valve, disconnect the tubing and hold a rag over the valve opening and turn it on and off quickly. This will let you know if water is reaching the valve. Probably some trash in the faucet itself or a bad O-ring or cartridge.
