No cold water in Kitchen Sink, but everywhere else..Help

I have no cold water in my kitchen sink, but at the same time the water stopped working on my garage tap as well. Some have said that it sounds as though I turned off a valve, but I didn't, could it be possible that the pipes are frozen? Does one have anything to do with the other? And if it matters, I have a bathroom and laundry room all on the same level and they both receive cold water, please help????

Not sure where you are located but frozen pipes in June would be tough.

Start in the basement and trace the cold lines from your sink to the source. There could be a shutoff somewhere that is closed.

Thanks Rickybobby, I didn't really think it was frozen pipes considering that I am in NJ and it is close to 90 degress today. But I will try and trace the pipes and look for a shut off.

Its possible that you have mini-ball shut off valves under the sink (the silver- 1/4 turn valves) Someone may have inadvertantly pushed something against it and shut the supply closed. Just a thought

Is it that you're not getting running water at all or that the water is just not cold?

Sounds like the OP means no water at all. I have seen lots of homes where the shutoff under the sink also controls the garage. Weird, I know
