New plumbing for a WC (water closet)

Hi all, I am wishing to turn a pantry into a half bath or WC. Trying to figure out the plumbing at this point. Here are a couple of options as I see it, I wanted to get someones opinion....

So can I just tap into my main sewer line here? I'm aware I will have to add a new vent stack for the closet....

Picture is confusing, where is the vents at? Can you repost a clearer picture?

Fix it right the first time, so you won't have to fix it a 2nd time.
