New Mainline depth ?????

Here is 4ft, other places it's 5ft, and I'm sure it's more or less in others. The best thing to do in this case is call your local building department and ask.

New Mainline depth ?????

It varies all over the place because it's driven by the local freeze/frost line depth. As recommended, call your local Building Inspection Department or water service.
