New kitchen sink

Hello All,

We are redoing out kitchen and will need to replace our double sink. The plumbing is coming from the wall and we are trying are trying to not change any of it. The new subfloor and the new cabinets will add an inch of height. Can we just get a sink that's an inch deeper to make up for the difference?

Thanks A lot!!

You should not need to.Don't you have flexible supply lines? You tailpice or trap should have some adjustment to make up the inch.

Yes, the supply lines are flexible. We were just worried about the drainage pipes.

You will have no problem. When raising the countertop you may need to purchase a tailpiece extension and if you install a new sink you may have to change some of the drain tubing. All work you can do yourself with no problems. Just do not use any flexible drain piping!
