new kitchen faucet

i purchased a new kitchen faucet, that contains flexible water hoses, but they do not reach water valves under the sink. Currently I have copper tubing attached to valves, how do I attach the new faucet to the copper tubes?

In the brass fitting section at the store --get a 3/8 inch compression coupling--

cut the existing tubing to the correct length with a tubing cutter--attach the coupling t the tube --discard the nut and ferrule on the top and hook up the line.---I'll see if google images has a picture--

Home Depot sells a 3/8" x 3/8" x 20" extention that will hook right up to the faucet supply and then to the shut off valve under the sink.
