new hose bib

Hi, I want to install a new outdoor hose bibb. Am I ok to tee in off supply to kitchen sink or do I have to come off the main? My concern is that I'll rob the sink if the hose is in use. This is my daughter's house in Lynchburg, Va. I dont have a PSI gauge to go by but the pressure seems adequete. No regulator on the main either. Thanks in advance.

Both would work but if the main is 3/4 you would have more flow availible.
More flow, higher pressure.
Any place you tap off of will lower the pressure at the sink some what.
