New H2Ow tank?????????

Hey all!!!!

I purchased a H2ow 14 Gallon Horizontal Pre-Charge Water System Tank from Menards and there is 2 little plastic hook deally sticking out the 1" inlet/outlet???? not sure if you leave this in there or should it have been removed by the factory when assenbled...... also the other end small fitting does not have an air valve installed????? how can it be pre charged with an open 1/8" pipe thread fitting???????? I read the instruction sheet and it said nothing about the little plastic thing....... It did say it was pre charged.....

If the Schrader valve stem is missing from the small air inlet pipe you can buy a replacement stem from an auto parts store. Also a little wrench to screw it in with. Some auto and bike tire valve stem caps have the wrench tip built into them.

But it will be difficult to pressurize the tank using this inlet unless it is in the form of a protruding stud on which a pump air hose can be pressed onto (the Schrader valve stem fits into the stud.)

You can also screw an assembly of pipes with a small faucet like valve into the tank's air inlet instead of a Schrader valve stem. You would select pieces to make up the assembly so the last piece is something that you press the pump hose onto.
Stop wasting time re-adjusting the pattern. Have several lawn sprinklers, one for each pattern.
