New Garbage disposal draining slowly.
I installed a brand new garbage disposal the other day. I used the exact same pipes/fittings to connect it to the drain. The now drains very slowly and only somewhat better with the disposal on. The pipes are clear up to the drain, and the old sink was draining fine not two days ago. I disconnected the piped from the drain, but not the disposal, and turned on the water. It flowed fast and freely threw the piped and in a bucket. This leads me to believe the problem is in the drain line. But, again, the drain for working fine two days ago. Is this a blockage farther down or something else I am not considering? Venting? Please help!
(The disposal is also connected to a dishwasher, as was the old one)
It looks like you have a partial stoppage in the drain line, it's going to need to be rodded out past the trap.
Just because the previous hook up worked dosen't mean the new one will
