New drain install in slab foundation, options?

Hi, I am new to this forum but I am not new to DIY projects. I have a home built in the 50s on a monolithic slab foundation. The washing machine is currently in the kitchen and I want to move it about 25 ft to a utility room which has the dryer and hot water heater.

Currently there is no drain in that room and I need one for the washer. I was wondering if anyone has experience with this. I don't know what the best and cheapest route is to installing the new drain.

One plumber recommended a pit in the ground with a sump pump to the attic that meets up with my bathroom vent. However, I am not sure this is to code and if it would be too noisy.

I have also considered running a new line directly outside and tying in to my main but it is about 75 ft away.

I appreciate any advice on this topic. Thanks!

You have some digging to do...

I would shoot it outside and then hook up to your main line.

This will involve a lot of digging and landscaping.

You will have to vent this new line as well and make sure you include proper cleanouts as well.

Not a hard job - but one that involves a lot of back strength...

Good Luck

Something like this...

I have attached a picture of what I think you are talking about. Can I tie into the vent for the hot water heater which is near by?

Is there a specific way to include the cleanout in case I ever decide to add a bathroom nearby as well?

Thanks again
