Question

New Dishwasher hookup problem


Previously I bought and connected my new dishwasher......according to the directions, of course. It is now 3 months later and their is water floating in the bottom after I run the garbage disposale. WHAT, have I done wrong, ugh !!!!!!

Sounds like there could be a problem with the way that the disposal & dishwasher drains are hooked up. Do you think that you could provide us with some pics?

did you loop the drain hose from the dishwasher up high under the countertop?

Unfortunately I dont have pic's. Honestly, I merely disconnected the old and added the new dishwasher, not changing any previous connections.

New Dishwasher hookup problem


You mentioned "looping the drain hose from the dishwasher up high". This sounds logical, now that you mention it....but it wasnt connected that way when I disconnected the old one. I assumed everything was done properly and all I had to do was follow the same steps to replace.
