new boiler

British Gas have been to see me today and given me a quote of £3,200 to install a new Worcester Greenstar 15Ri RSF condensing boiler. Is this about the right price to supply and install as i'm totally confused having looked at the cost of boilers to buy on the internet which are only about £600?
I live in a semi detached house with 3 bedrooms. We are keeping the water tank in the airing cupboard (i was told this is better for families).
Please can anyone help with ideas about prices as i don't want to be ripped off as money is tight?
Much appreciated.

new boiler

I don't think we have too many members in the UK and from what I hear plumbing is a whole nother ballgame over there. Prices vary greatly from area to area within the US I'd imagine ever moreso country to country. A boiler install in a small home with one zone starts at around $3,500. Figure about $500 for each additional zone after $3500 up to six zones.

Very very very rough pricing guide here.
