new bathtub HELP
I just bought a new house. I noticed that the bathtub in my guest bath has a puddle of water in the center (about ) We have only used this tub twice. I am just concerned that there may be a problem with the tub or that it could turn into something later. Could the tub not be level???

new bathtub HELP
If this is a new new house, check with the builder. Water should not lay in the tub. If it is a fiberglass tub, there should be bed under the tub for support. If this was not there, your could have premature cracking in the future.

new bathtub HELP
Definitely get a 2 foot level and check it out. Tubs have built in slope on their bottoms, so all sides should be level. Could be defective. I've seen fibreglass tubs that had a depression in the middle, flaw from the factory.
