I have to move some plumbing due to framing for a 46" recessed medicine cabinet.
Here is the picture with the framing in progress.
The wall isnt a 2x6. Instead its a 2x4 with a spilt 2x4 on the back side of every stud making it about a 1/2 short of being a full 2x6. Any ways, Im leaving the split 2x4 on the back side and framing a king and jack stud with a 2x6 header on top. All of the wires are clipped onto the split 2x4 on the back side.
The prior vent ran about 8 inches way from the main stack you see on the left. It then T'd into the line from the double vanity. The problem is I cant run it through there any more due to the medicine cabinet. Is it ok to run it up and around the top of the header down the right side on the other side of the king/jack stud on the right and then T into the right side of the horizontal sink pipe in the wall. At what point should I enter the pipe - is it best to do it between the 2 sinks?
