Need help with tub spout

Bad diverter valve on tub in guest bathroom. Took off the old one. Bought "universal" replacement from HD that isn't. (it fit, but when spout was screwed on, had a 1 inch gap between spout and wall.) I have a 2 inch non-threaded 1/2 inch copper nipple coming out of the tiled wall. I don't want to have to cut the nipple, or break open the tile. Have tried HD, Lowes, and multiple hardware stores, but no one carries the "slip-on" type with setscrew.

Can anyone tell me where to find the right replacement spout?

Ace Hardware carries them, and if they don't have it in stock, they can order it for you.
