Need Help With Towel Rack

Hi, I am new to the forum and I cannot find the right towel rack to fit in the built in moldings that are part of the house. Below is a picture of the moldings, the space between them is 23in. Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

Need Help With Towel Rack

Hi and welcome to the forum.

I believe those brackets slide straight up. If not, look for a set screw. Of course, they could be glued on too.....
Then take one to your local hardware store and ask them for the chromed (square) steel rod that goes into the square openings. If they're permanent, the fix will be different.
Measure length before disassembly.

You might be able to have a hardware store custom cut you something also.

When you say "I cannot find the right towel rack to fit in the built in moldings that are part of the house" do you mean that there is no apparent way to remove the towel bar holders shown in your photo to allow installing a towel bar? Or do you mean that you are able to remove the bar holders but cannot find a bar to fit the openings in the holders?
