Need Help with My Bosch Tankless Waterheater

I have a Bosch 2400ng tankless water heater and I am having issues with it. Every time that I turn on my bath faucet at full flow, the heater will fault out. If I restrict the flow, it will be OK. Also, when I am in the shower, I have to have a slow trickle from the sink (of hot water) otherwise, the water in the shower gets too hot. If I try to add more cool water and lessen the hot, I guess the flow gets too low and the heater shuts off. I tried contacting Bosch but they have not answered my calls or emails. Anyone have any ideas on what might be going on?

Was checking out specs on that unit, min flow rate is .8 gpm to get the gas to kick on, that may explain the shutting down part when you adjust the flow down in the shower,but the getting too hot is a mystery to me. Running the tub full force takes a lot of gpm and you may not have the gas sized properly on the unit but this is just a guess, may be starving for gas. Did you install it yourself? If not get the people who did back out there.

What temp is your heater set to? If set too high, it will explain why shower gets too hot and why bath filler full on causes a fault out.

Your mistake was buying a Bosch. Bosch makes a lot of good products but their tank less units are among the worst out there.
First off what size gas line is running into the unit? What size do you have through your whole home?

If it isn't the gas I'd call up whoever sold it to you and installed it and and demand they get it running correctly. If you purchased it yourself pull it out and try to get yourself a refund and a better unit. At the very least get a replacement.
