Need Advice - Rusted pipes
Hi everyone.
I have some pipes that are rusted but am not sure on which direction I should take going about repairing it. The issue is it seems like part of the pipe which goes underground is starting to rust. I can't think of a way to replace it. It is hard to dig deeper as it is concrete.

Need Advice - Rusted pipes
There is no "fixing that", it all going to have to be replaced.
Time to call a plumber, not a very DIY job.
Sure looks like there something very wrong with the water it's self to have that much corrosion in the middle of the pipe like that in that many places.
Most often it rust out at the threads or under the slab not in the middle like that
Along with getting the pipes replaced I'd play it save and also get that water tested.

I do not have access to it - my best guess is it goes underground and back up outside to where the main water shutoff valve thing is.

you can add crown molding to hid new pipe.
or if this is the supply that enters into house you might look into directional boring

Picture quality isn't the best, but the type of pipe seems to be galvanized, at least to my eyes. But no matter what it type is it'll need to be replaced. Looks like some water with a high mineral content. After you get the results back from the water tests you might want to start looking at treating your potable water.
