Need advice for New Sink Install

Jeffrey262 Newbie   Join Date: Mar 2009 Posts: 22	Need advice for New Sink Install Hello, I recently framed for a new bathroom. I need to add the peatrap for the sink. Do I need to make a hole through all the 2x4's to reach the ejector pit? I cannot run the PVC behind the framing. I am 4in's or smaller away from the basement wall. What size PVC do I use? majakdragon Member   Join Date: Sep 2006 Posts: 1,670	Need advice for New Sink Install Most bathroom sinks have 1-1/4" in the exposed plumbing and trap and then jump to 1-1/2" at the wall. The piping behind the wall will be 1-1/2". Since I cannot see your options, I cannot say how to run the pipes, but you also need a vent tied in. __________________ If you have never made a mistake, you haven't done much.
