What's the difference between a navien NR210 and the Navien NR210 (A) models

why not call them and ask? website shows 0.8% difference in efficiency 98 vs 98.8%. May be other differences?

The "A" has a built-in "buffer tank" to prevent the cold water sandwich effect. I just got one installed and wish I had stayed with my good old fashioned TANK water heater.

In 41 years living here I was never a minute without HW. Since I got this installed about 6 weeks ago me and my plumber have become close friends and I'm getting tired of cold showers.

In fact, as I type this he is out trying to get a replacement flow sensor since we have no HW yet AGAIN. It's great when it works.

I have a Bosch unit now for several years - no problems - love the endless hot water and low gas bill.
