Mystery wet spots

Hi,

I have an odd situation; I am in NH but have a house in CO. My tenant sends me the two attached pictures of a mysterious wet spot on the outside foundation of the house. In the smaller picture you can see to the right there is another wet spot in the rocks.

I have a very small grass area that does have a sprinkler system, currently turned off to troubleshoot, but no wet areas in or around where the sprinklers would be.

Inside the house at the spot is the oven.

Just wondering if anyone has any input on what may be going on.

Thanks,

Jason

There is a dog water dish on the ground.

There are two wet spots.

Did the dog drink the water and discharge the surplus?

Note how the stain on the wall does not start at the base of the siding.

I like FHI's solution with the dogs....

Is there any other plumbing in that area that could be the culprit?

Is the area always wet or only at certaitn times? i.e. laundry, diswasher etc..

The dogs ears are even in the picture at the bottom left corner of the first photo.

Is the tenant aware that dogs do urinate?

Is that a repair patch in the hose as well, and could that have been laying in that spot?
