Mystery wet spots

jbennett Newbie   Join Date: May 2007 Posts: 1	Mystery wet spots Hi, I have an odd situation; I am in NH but have a house in CO. My tenant sends me the two attached pictures of a mysterious wet spot on the outside foundation of the house. In the smaller picture you can see to the right there is another wet spot in the rocks. I have a very small grass area that does have a sprinkler system, currently turned off to troubleshoot, but no wet areas in or around where the sprinklers would be. Inside the house at the spot is the oven. Just wondering if anyone has any input on what may be going on. Thanks, Jason Attached Thumbnails

fhivinylwindows fhi vinyl windows     Join Date: Jun 2006 Location: MA & RI Posts: 178	Mystery wet spots There is a dog water dish on the ground. There are two wet spots. Did the dog drink the water and discharge the surplus? Note how the stain on the wall does not start at the base of the siding.

Longtooth Member     Join Date: Apr 2007 Location: CRR, Or. Posts: 43	Mystery wet spots i had one like that, after i tore off the siding, i found 2 8D siding nails in the kitchen sink 1-1/2" abs drain pipe. it had to be leaking for 20 years.
