my toilet is possesed

After installing a a.s. 4049 3 or 3 1/2/gal the bowl will not clear unless the handle is held down.Things I have checked wax obstruction(remove and reinstall),trap obstruction( placed bowl in tub and simulate flush),water level (full as possible),Tried low profile seal inside tank to bowl, install flapper with stryafoam, all holes under rim open, I assume venting is fine,it worked before. Thanks for and advice in advance.pwa

Shorten the chain on the flapper as short as possible and still allow it to function, and try that to see if it helps solve the problem.
Sometimes it's just the little things.
Good Luck!

YOu don't want the water refilling the tank spattering over the flapper, that will force the flapper closed too early.

Fixing this can be tricky and require some makeshift baffle.
