My hose valve burst AGAIN!

Install a woodford model 19 and you will never have this problem again.

I have installed a couple hundred of them over the last few years and not one has ever burst.

My hose valve burst AGAIN!

I installed a frost proof style silcock, and then inside I used a shut-off valve that has a bleed/drain plug. This way I'm 100% sure all the water comes out. End of season I simply turn the shut-off valve to off, open the silcock outside, and then pull the drain plug on the shut-off valve. Once all the water is out I put the plug back in, and forget about it until the spring.

Good luck
