My antique Culligan Mark 89 has died.

Help!!
I had the local Culligan Systems Tech come out and look at my Mark 89 water conditioner. He said that the control valve timer motor had died and that replacement motors are scarce, mostly only from used control units. They want to replace the whole system $$$$, but I'd like to find a replacement motor and dis-assemble the unit and replace just the motor. Has anybody out there had such a failure? Did you find a replacement, preferrably new, motor? Where? many thanks

I do know where there is a used culligan drive motor for the main piston and brine piston.
Check Ebay for culligan motor.
In the Search bar type in Culligan Motor and that should pull up the motor.

Have you had any luck in finding a motor to keep your Culligan unit going?

Right motor?

Hi Akpsdvan-
Thanks for the input. No I haven't found a replacement motor yet and the one you're selling on ebay might do the job if it is the right one. Is the motor for sale for a mark 89? does the same motor run the timer and the plunger or are they separate functions with separate motors?
thanks...Bruce

The one on Ebay is for the Culligans 89,812 and the filter controls that they used over the years.
There was some early ones that had a plate on top and under to hold the assembly to the back plate, then they change it to a single total part , either works.
The culligan motor has 2 shafts, one on top for the brine piston and one under for the main piston.
