We're just about to move into our very first home (awwww!) and want to move the plumbing for the washing machine into a little room we're calling "the utility" (cause we're getting right posh like)!
Anyway - the only thing is the room is on the opposite side of the wall to the drain which is past the external kitchen door. SO, I know we'll have to poke a hole through the wall to the outside - but how do we lead the waste pipe to the drain ... Im guessing the water pressure wont manage to push it up and over the door and back down the other side ... yet I don't fancy having to step over the pipe when taking a trip to the garden.
Would we have to dig it into the ground and maybe pave over it - while obviously not cementing it in ...
It would be helpful if you could post some pictures.
I think you will need to extend the underground drains and put in a back entry gully, it might be worth getting some quotes for the work, or consider re-sighting the washing machine.
