Moving a cast Iron pipe
Just when I thought I had a productive weekend towards completeing my kitchen remodel I hit a problem, after hooking up my garbage disposal, then the elbow that comes with it, then the Tee for the 2nd bowl, and then the Pee trap, I sit below my wall DWV outlet. My house has cast iron DWV pipes, and was wondering what I could use to lower the outlet i.e. what type of tools, to cut, and if I could install PVC or if I have to keep using cat iron. My walls a completely finished on the kitchen side, but I could removed the sheetrock from the garage side and do my thing.

Sure, expose the drain, cut out ci sant, install pvc schedule 40 sant with no hub or fernco fittings, run new drain to sink

instead of the elbow coming out of the disposer can you run a tailpiece to raise the trap

Thanks for the feedback. I ended up installing a Pee trap on each run and then doing a Yee at the wall inlet, avoiding the Tee on the disposal side kept me at the same level as the wall inlet.
