Minimum Fall

I am running (burying) 4" PVC from the downspout away from the house. What is the minimum fall I should have in the pipes. Thanks.

What will the rainwater be dumping into at the end of the pipe if it's underground? Is there just one downpipe?
As for the slope of the pvc, I would say 1/4" for every one foot.

Depends on what code you use, hear as long as there is no backgrade it can be flat, but slope is always best, 1/8 for rain drains.

Ron: Thanks. The pipe will be draining onto the front lawn which slopes pretty steeply away from the house.
