Millions of tiny bubbles
Last night we got water from our cold water faucets (at least the aerated ones in the kitchen and bathroom) with millions of tiny bubbles. It looked like skim milk.
The hot water, from the same faucets, did not have the bubbles.
After a few minutes, most of the bubbles in a clear glass would work their way to the top and disappear leaving clear water.
I've seen that in water in New York city. Its that way all the time there.
This morning, the bubbles are no longer appearing from the faucets.
Our city water comes from a tank that is a few hundred feet higher than our house. We have a pressure reducer at the street to lower the pressure to about 60 psi.
What would cause those bubbles?
