Hello
I am installing a Maxx Shower (Magnolia Round) in my basement bathroom. Both walls (that the shower will touch) are metal studs. One is an exterior wall, so it is insulated and has a vapor barrier. The manufacturer says that I can install it directly against the studs so I have put a wood 2*4 in vertically where each shower wall will end.
Do I need any more wood blocking in place?
Should I put some drywall behind the shower or go directly against the studs?
After I install the shower walls do I overlap the edges with the drywall (if I dont put drywall behind the shower)?
Thanks In Advance For Any Help.
