Master bedroom with a master sink

We bought an A-Frame built in 1979 that has the master bedroom in the peak of the frame. It has a tiled area with only a sink. I would like to add a shower, maybe a bath tub as well, and a toilet to make it a complete bath. What should be the first things I need to look for before tearing too deep into this, save for calling a plumber? I'm worried a previous owner had the same idea and ran into problems with adding the other fixtures and stopped with a sink.
Thanks

Start with the basics- can you get a 3" drain up there and a 2" vent through the roof?
Also 3/4" H&C water lines?

judging from your picture I'd say that wall is sitting on a beam. From a plumber's stand point- not good news
