Main Water Shutoff Valve leak & question


I don't think they will go through the trouble of suing but will charge you to pay for it.
The gate valve inside the Home is home owners not the town correct?

The whole line is the home owners property in many situations,other than the meter which belongs to the city in either situation.
Even when the city owns the line Id say its a safe bet the shut off valves inside the house are yours
