what is the measurment from the mail waste (pipe in the wall) to the floor, when installing a undermount sink?

Do I need to lower this drain pipe for an undermount sink ?

It depends on a lot of things.

Is your coutertop height standard? Do you have a normal sized undermount sink or is it extra deep?

We normally go 16" for kitchen sink drains and 19" for lavatory drains. If they're planning on having an extra deep sink sometimes it's best to go a few inches lower.

If it's a triple bowl, sometimes you need to be really low, depending on configuration of the bowls.

MY drain measures at 19 inchs, I live in Chicago. I will have a deep bowl SS sink with Disposer with standard top,and cabinets, you think if i drop it down 4,, around 15'' inchs this will work for me.

it sounds low but kitchen sinks i rough in at 12 to 14 inches due to under mount deep bowl with garbage disposal scenario's that i get in remodel sink reworks when the customer can not figure out why i need to cut drywall when it worked before.for those "i just need you to hook my sink up after new counter top calls"
