low water pressure

I have a well with a jet pump in the house. I recently changed both the pump and the pressure tank. Since then the pressure runs between 15 35 psi . I would like to have the psi to stay between 30 to 50. When I try increasing the pressure on the pump it is Maxed out at 38 psi and then the pump just keeps running. What do I do next?

low water pressure

It sound like your pump might not be big enough. If you set the pressure switch to 50 psi and all the pump will produce it will run continually trying to get to 50. Did the old pump maintain 50 psi? Is the new one the same size.

did you replace pressure switch if so did you buy the right one it usually says on box and on cover of switch on inside which has a 20 # difference then you need to set air in bladder correctly should have chart with new tank
