Windows: you're right, they're all now low-flow. The last two I bought worked fine once I spent 10 minutes digging out and/or modifying the flow restrictors....
....after my better half kept complaining she couldn't get the shampoo out of her hair.
Our plumber thinks our point well may be starting to fail, because the pressure goes up and down while showering. It will be OK for a minute or 2, then it will drop for a couple seconds, then go back up. Do you think a low flow(maybe 1.25 gpm) will help when pressure drops? That's why I want to try one out.
Probably not, you may get even less flow. Maybe your problem lies elsewhere in your plumbing. Water pressure going up and down could be a possible pressure regulator that may need to be cleaned, replaced, rebuilt or adjusted, if you have one. You can start by asking your plumber to investigate further if you want or you can. Check water pressures at different places, like hose bib, sinks, etc. Just a thought.
Yep ..... believe they are peerless shower heads sold at Wallmart
