Can anyone recommend a good performing, low flow shower head? The cheaper the better, and can be bought at Home Depot or Menards. Thanks.

These $5 ones are great.

You'll see them on cardboard holders clipped to the uprights.
Some will have an on/off valve built in too.
I use those little shower heads for body sprays when I plumb low budget bathrooms/showers,they work good for that.:)

Our plumber thinks our point well may be starting to fail, because the pressure goes up and down while showering. It will be OK for a minute or 2, then it will drop for a couple seconds, then go back up. Do you think a low flow(maybe 1.25 gpm) will help when pressure drops? That's why I want to try one out.

Probably not, you may get even less flow. Maybe your problem lies elsewhere in your plumbing. Water pressure going up and down could be a possible pressure regulator that may need to be cleaned, replaced, rebuilt or adjusted, if you have one. You can start by asking your plumber to investigate further if you want or you can. Check water pressures at different places, like hose bib, sinks, etc. Just a thought.

Have you tried turning down the water a little bit to see if it makes any differance, does it do the same thing on any other faucets decide the shower?:)
