loud surround tub

Hi everyone. I am not at all knowledgeable when it comes to anything that requires fixing up so forgive me if I'm unable to explain things well.

There seems to be a lot of noise when entering and exiting our surround tub. Is this normal? I've been in this house for about 4 years and I didn't notice this at first but it may be that I am just noticing this now. Is there a problem here? I have also noticed that the drain isn't flush with the bottom of the tub but there are no watermarks on the ceiling underneath so I am assuming that it isn't leaking. What do you think?

Thanks!

Be more specific about what you're hearing.

Are the noises happening when you step into the tub, and do they originate from your weight in the tub? Or are the noises from the pump motor?

As for the drain, post a picture.
