I have replaced shutoff valves before but not the type that is shown in the attached picture. Not sure of the manufacturer or model number. Appreciate any help.

A set screw is the usual fastener. If there is no visible set screw, the small top flare screws down to the large bottom flare. The bottom tightens the fixture to the top.

Sorry. Still can't see any screws at all. I'm at lost.

Likely---the handle is held on by the bell shaped base or the bulged fancy work just under the handle

There is a plastic insert on those that breaks and that is what is likely your issue. Mark |
Hello All. My wife pointed out that I have a Kohler faucet. Well I went online and figure where to find the ID. Anyway it seems I can't unscrew the handle without using a vice grip or a pipe wrench. The schematic does not show it being screwed in. Any more help will be appreciated.
PS. Turned to YouTube but can't find anything there. |
You could try this, otherwise Kohler has a help line.
http://helptopics.us.kohler.com/ics/...sp?deptID=5712 I could have sworn those were Moen, but I guess they all look the same. Mark |
