Looking to buy a new rental house

Basically two forms of plumbing have been used historically right? Copper and PB piping. Does anyone know when they started using PB piping and when they had to stop using it? Thanks in advance

Galvanized
Copper
PVC
CPVC
PEX
PB
Black Poly

or

A combination of more than one, two, three, sometimes several.

It's probably not possible to determine the existence of PB in an entire water system, i.e., hidden in walls, etc. sometimes with copper stubs coming out of the wall.

Do you already have a property picked out?

Although I don't know an extensive history of PB (Quest, PolyButylene), I know it's been recalled and should be replaced.

This appears to be a good website with lots of information
http://www.polybutylene.com/poly.html

Sounds about right, but pretty sure I've seen newer mobiles with it.
