I'm replacing the bathroom vanity and sink in my basement half bath. There aren't any shutoff valves on the existing vanity and I want to install some.
Basically what I've got now is a 90 degree brass elbow that's soldered to the copper on one end and a 3/8 compression nipple on the top where the supply line to the sink connects. All of the angle valves that I've found also have a male connection. I need something to bridge the gap between the 2, but can't find a female/female compression sized coupler or anything like that.
I thought about cutting the existing connector off, but I don't think there'd be enough copper left outside the wall to connect to.
