Little hot water in shower, rest of house OK

Hi,

We moved into our place 5 years ago and in the MBR shower there is very little hot water. In fact, some of the streams seem actually cold!

. The rest of the house has HOT HOT water.

It is a model (no name) with one lever, off is in the 6-o'clock position, and you turn it counterclockwise to make it hotter.

Here is a similar picture to ours.

WHAT CAN I DO!

Don't know hoe new it is...Has it always been like this ? The newer ones have an anti scald feature that can be adjusted

I betcha the mixing valve is worn out/clogged or otherwise not functioning properly.

if you remove the handle and cover you will likely see a piece of plastic that prevents the handle from being turned to the full hot position remove that plastic and youll be good to go
those handles should turn almost 360 degrees
