LED bathroom faucet

Hey everyone,

I clicked on one of the banner ads attached to this site to look at these LED bathroom faucets.

http://www.lightinthebox.com/Free-Sh...FUVn5QodFG_dGA

(Note: I am not promoting this product, just asking....)

They look really cool (that means of course my wife wouldn't like it), but I do and I know my daughter would love it. She might actually wash her hands once in awhile with this.

But I've never heard of the "bela" brand.

So I'm wondering if anyone has had any experience with these things?

Are they just a novel idea attached to crap, or is there a quality faucet underneath the glitz and glamour?

I'm going to throw my guess out there and say it's a novelty idea attached to a crap faucet.

For a bottom of the line but quality moen lav faucet, you should be paying ~60-100 dollars depending on handle configuration. 69.99 + free shipping, and a free peeler? It cost them probably 10 dollars to make that faucet. Then you factor in the idea that its a novelty thing and probably won't be around for very long, so when it goes away and yours breaks, where are you gonna get parts for it? You gonna pay 70 dollars for a throw away faucet and a free peeler? I wouldn't. But, if you decide to get it, let us know how you like it, i'm always excited to read product reviews.

Don't know the faucet brand but look it up I guess. I did see something like this on one of the "I Want That!" type shows. The LED arrays were tied into a thermal sensor so changed when the water temp did. Kind of cool I guess. At all necessary? Of course I thought the demonstration for color changing paint where they painted a basin and toilet pretty wild too!

Combine that paint with an LED faucet and you could stay entertained for hours!

And faux fur bath matt?

Here is the link for the color changing paint demonstration videos, by the way.

It would probably be cheaper to just take a hit of acid. Not to mention less chance of crap faucet flooding your house...

Yeah sure but have a bad trip and start thinking you just saw Gracie Slick singing "White Rabbit" naked and that you have to fly away from the vision by diving out a first floor bathroom window into a bed of tulips would just have the neighbors laughing at you. And LED faucet, disco ball, faux fur---especially if it is some unnatural color---and one supposes a toilet painted with color changing paint will live on forever. I would never get tired of the such a bathroom! Pipe in a little Barry Manilow or Michael Bolton for the womenfolk. Hang some Velvet Elvis miniature paintings on the wal. Good to go!

Wow, those sinks changing colour are cool.

Could you imagine a guest going to wash their hands after having a few too many and seeing the sink turn bright (blood) red when you wash your hands. That would be priceless.

As long as they don't knock the disco ball down and ruin the faux fur rug, or knock the fuzzy dice off of the mirror.

Came of age in San Francisco Bay Area during the Jefferson Airplane, Hendrix era so she has folk hero status for me. Never inhaled though. Is she still alive? Last time I saw her on tv, she was looking a little rough. Not sure about lusting to see her in the buff.

You guys Freakin Rock. I love that tile. When we redo our shower, I'll get some of that and won't tell the wife.

OK, at $29 per 4X4 tile, maybe not.
