Leaking Toilet Cistern/Tank

Hi Hopefully this is the right area for this question. I have recently replaced the inlet valve however Ive now found a small hole at the bottom of the cistern tank which leaks water over the floor. Is there a way of fixing the hole in the tank ( close to the base of the Inlet Value) or should i be looking for a brand new toilet cistern set.. Any help is much appreciated. Amelie

Leaking Toilet Cistern/Tank

If the tank is not leaking from a hole put into the tank by the manufacturer, it is time to purchase a new one. By doing a repair, you may come home and find a flood if the repair doe's not hold or a larger defect occurs.
