Hi I'm not a plumber but I want to repair my shower vavles could someone tell me what is involed in this project and just what must be done? I'm retired so I have time to do it.Thanks everyone in advance.

Whats the issue with the shower valves now?

Since your saying "valves" I would assume that you have three versus a single handle?

Thank you for the reply and no I have 2 valves hot & cold I want to reseat them and put new washers on.Question on what kind of tool I need to reseat?Thanks in advance.

Unless it something old/unique the valve seats are noramlly removeable with an appropriate size allen wrench once the stems are removed.
