Leaking Drain Pipe
 

I have a leaking drain pipe behind the foundation. I'm wondering if I can cut the floor joist enough to get some pipe repair tape around this. I'm attaching pictures.

That old steel pipe needs to be replaced with PVC not repaired.
At some point it always leaks and plugs up from the inside out.

Any suggestions to get to the pipe with the floor joists in the way or do they make some stop leak stuff like with radiators?

What's on the back side of that wall?

I think its dirt. That wall is the foundation.

Then what is this pipe draining?
What"s the other end attached to inside?
Trying to figure out if this is suppost to be a drain how is water running up hill from inside the house?

It is the drain from the sink. It drains from the sink goes down this pipe back into the house and out the sewer line.
