leak in toilet tank and water suply
I found a leak where my water supply feeds my tank.
I shut off the water, cleared the tank, and installed a new water supply. But, the leak is still there. It appears to be at the threaded plastic "valve" where the supply attaches. it is a light drip... maybe one every 30-60sec can i just add some GOOP/silicone to strengthen the seal? should i be looking at a new tank? thanks Kevin |

You shouldn't need a new tank. Simply replace the fill valve with a new Fluidmaster. They're 8 or 10 bucks and takes about 5 minutes.

Guessing that the male threaded adapter that the water supply line attaches to is cracked. As stated, replace the fill-valve with a Fluidmaster unit. Under $10 at hardware and Home Centers.
