leak in my wall

I was told my a plumber that we have galvanized and copper pipes fused together...is this possible?
The plumber did not tear down the wall, so are there tools to detect this?
Does the elevated water pressure coming into my house cause leaks?
What do i do to regulate?
Thank you for all your help, i appreciate the response.

Maybe he saw where the plumbing entered with gal then saw copper inside the house. If two dissimilar materials are not connected with the proper fitting, yes, it can cause leaks. These fitting prevent the two materials from having direct contact.
