leak in bathroom

I have abnormally large gaps between where the tile ends and tub. The tub is flexing in the corner so when we showered water would pool in the corner and the caulk would come up. I pulled up all the old caulk and used backer rods in the joints and resealed with 100% silicone!! Hoping it holds any other suggestions if the silicone does not hold?

You tub was not installed properly---so intil tha day comes that you can add blocking and get the tub flange attached to it ---you will need a very flexible caulk--

Use Silicone --after you fill the tub----once the gap is completely filled---spray whe wet silicone with 409 or Greased Lightning--spray your finger--and tool the joint as smooth as you can---
