Lead stack boots

How would you suggest repairing a lead boot that has been chewed thru by a squirrel? How would you suggest keeping a squirrel from doing it again? Have you ever had to deal with this?

Lead boot? Is this the 90 below the tiolet flange? You need stabing weapons and a ski mask, I prefer black. No squirrel problems but I have seen rats in sewer lines.
